If you’ve ever met Michael, you know—he makes everyone feel like they belong. He loves people, and his heart for them is as big as his frame (6’6” and 260 lbs). Michael thrives on sharing experiences across cultures, having real conversations, and wrapping interactions up with his signature bear hug. (Introverts, consider this your fair warning.)
Michael is a football fanatic—college, pro, high school, youth, you name it. He’s also passionate about stories with heroes (especially the kind with superpowers) and secretly dreams of becoming an Avenger.
In 2014, Michael and his wife, Pastor Stephanie, moved to Memphis to plant Engage Church. After more than 25 years of growing together in love and ministry, Michael still says he hit the jackpot in marriage—just ask him.
